I own a small business, one of my employees has made a lot of mistakes lately. He has been rude to customers and we’ve had a lot of complaints about him. Consequently, my business has suffered. I am sending him to Miami for a weeks vacation.

My sister has lived there (well Orlando) for over 40 years. She married an American serviceman and went back with him. They split up so she started her own business and it's still going strong today.
She now lives in her 7 bed mansion on a lake with her own boat and dock which she keeps inviting us over to but my wife hates Florida. We last went there when our kids were pre-teenage so, 20 years ago I guess.

due to go there for 2 weeks on a project. Business class flights and 5 star hotel near South Beach. Was their South American headquarters.
Was cancelled 2 weeks before we were due to go. Budget reasons.

Florida is too humid for me, much prefer the west coast.
Palm Springs gets some proper fucking high temperatures, but it’s a dry heat. Great place, NS. Lot of irons though, and I don’t mean West Ham fans.

Spent a 9 hour layover in Miami, and was advised to go to the bay area, then took a boat trip round the bay which was brilliant and the guide was a most stunning looking Hispanic girl.. I then wandered around the market bars and went back to the airport. Found it quite pleasant.
